Targets of the position:

  1. They maximize the sales of their stores.
  2. They ensure that store´s general and daily operations are conducted according to the company’s rules and regulations.
  3. They take all steps necessary for having excellent store employees.
  4. They ensure the lowest possible costs and highest productivity for all operations and procedures.
  5. They work in cooperation with all other departments in order to let the Company achieve better results and be more successful.

In order to stay ahead of competition, it is required to apply the principle of economy to the maximum extent.


Specific Decisions and Responsibilities:

  1. They must visit each store at least twice a week, ideally every two days, check the cash balance (including safe) at least once a week and draw up a store visit report at least once in a week. The store visit report must be discussed with the Store Manager.
  2. They visit new stores daily in order to check and help the store manager with the daily procedures.
  3. They decide on hiring’s and dismissals of store employees, except Store Managers and deputies.
  4. They have to ensure effective promotional advertising for the store (e.g., flyers to households).
  5. They check the physical inventory counting of their stores and approve the counts.
  6. They ensure a good flow of information and documentation between the regional office and stores.
  7. They monitor competition and general market conditions in the area where their stores are located.
  8. They decide on expenses and repairs for stores up to $1,000.
  9. They suggest new potential locations to be rented to the Sales Manager.
  10. They plan and organize the opening of new stores.
  11. They check whether the inventory and order procedures are according to the company´s rules and decisions.
  12. They decide on the number of personnel, full timers and part times of each store.
  13. They train new store managers and review the training of cashiers.
  14. They decide on the holiday programs of store managers and deputies.
  15. They suggest new potential store managers to the Sales Manager and suggest dismissals.
  16. They are responsible for the recruitment of new store employees.
  17. They participate in the Area Managers Meeting.
  18. Willing to relocate.
