ABOUT US

We are a U.S.-based functional medicine practice grounded in functional medicine and evolutionary medicine. Our clinical model is informed by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) framework and operationalized using a systems-based approach (Kalish-style case thinking).

We work with U.S. clients who are motivated, educated, and seeking long-term health transformation through lifestyle, nutrition, behavior change, and accountability—not quick fixes.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE

We are not hiring a general virtual assistant or someone new to health coaching.

We are looking for a real health coach who already understands functional medicine concepts and can confidently coach U.S.-based clients on lifestyle change, behavior change, and implementation of care plans.

If you are primarily trained in allopathic or protocol-only coaching and are unfamiliar with functional medicine thinking, this role will not be a good fit.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coach clients on nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, habits, and accountability
• Support implementation of functional medicine care plans (education, adherence, behavior change – no diagnosing or prescribing)
• Translate complex health concepts into simple, motivating coaching language
• Track progress, barriers, and wins using clear documentation
• Communicate clearly and professionally with U.S.-based clients
• Contribute to coaching SOPs, education materials, and scripts over time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ year of real health coaching experience
• Strong understanding of metabolic health, insulin resistance, and lifestyle medicine
• Excellent spoken and written English (client-facing role)
• Comfortable working with U.S. culture, communication style, and expectations
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Experience coaching behavior change, not just giving advice
• Having health coaching certifications is a plus!!
• Familiarity with IFM concepts (Timeline, Matrix, antecedents/triggers/mediators, systems thinking)
• Experience coaching metabolic syndrome, autoimmune, or inflammatory conditions
• Interest in evolutionary medicine principles (sleep/circadian rhythm, strength training, whole-food nutrition, stress resilience)
• Personal embodiment of a health-forward lifestyle
• Must be available to work 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST

COMPENSATION

• USD $10–$15/hour, depending on experience and independence
