Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the architecture design and core module development of the CEX exchange derivatives trading system, including key workflows such as order management, matching engine, risk control, accounting, position management, and clearing & settlement.

2. Drive upgrades to achieve high throughput, low latency, and high availability in the system architecture, supporting high-concurrency trading scenarios and global business growth.

3. Lead technical solution reviews, performance optimization, and incident management for the derivatives business; identify system bottlenecks and propose practical improvement plans.

4. Collaborate closely with product, compliance, risk control, and operations teams to ensure stable, secure, and compliant deployment of derivatives features.

5. Elevate the team’s engineering capabilities by enforcing coding standards, establishing unit testing frameworks, proactively addressing technical risks, and building SLA/stability frameworks.

6. Participate in or lead team training and management initiatives (e.g., mentoring, architecture governance, and driving special projects if you have management experience).

7. Continuously monitor industry-leading technologies and drive the evolution of system capabilities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2. Over 5 years of backend development experience, with at least 3 years in trading, matching, risk control, or accounting within the financial or crypto domain. Familiarity with derivatives business or experience with mature trading systems is a plus.

3. Proficient in Java with experience in developing high-performance, low-latency systems.

4. Expertise in microservices, distributed architectures, and asynchronous models (e.g., Aeron, Disruptor, Kafka) is preferred.

5. Deep understanding of matching engines, risk systems (liquidation/margin calls), funds management, and the order lifecycle.

6. Strong skills in optimizing complex systems, including GC tuning, lock optimization, network latency reduction, and storage & cache design.

7. Experience at large internet companies or exchanges (e.g., BAT/TMD/ByteDance/top-tier crypto exchanges) is preferred.

8. Project management or team leadership experience is a plus.

9. Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to maintain high productivity under pressure.
