About the Role

We are a think tank specializing in international policy and regional economics. We are currently undertaking a research initiative on APEC, with a focus on Asia-Pacific economic cooperation, policy evolution, and emerging trends. To bring greater depth and new perspectives to the study, we are seeking applications from journalists who have covered APEC and scholars with a track record of APEC-related research to join us as Project Analysts.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on APEC-related topics;
  2. Produce research reports, policy briefs, and analytical commentaries;
  3. Provide on-the-ground insights and sector-specific knowledge as needed for the project.

Job Requirements

  1. Proven experience in reporting on Asia-Pacific economics or international relations;
  2. Strong writing skills and sharp analytical thinking;
  3. A genuine interest in policy research and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks;
  4. Prior experience with think tanks, media outlets, government agencies, or international organizations is a plus;
  5. Demonstrable, in-depth understanding of the political economy and policy landscape of at least one APEC member economy. Candidates who have lived or worked in that region preferred.
