Descripción

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Healthcare Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The CSR will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with various healthcare services and processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of healthcare procedures, and a commitment to patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and messages from patients, providers, and insurance companies.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and explaining healthcare benefits.
  • Resolve billing inquiries, claim issues, and general account questions.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and follow up on pending requests.
  • Provide empathetic, patient-first support in all interactions.


Requisito

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer service software.
  • Ability to manage high call volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathetic, patient-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.


Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.
