We aim to build a vibrant online community and grow our presence across multiple platforms, enhancing brand visibility and audience engagement.


Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead the digital presence of BizNest. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of social media trends, and a knack for engaging audiences. You’ll play a key role in growing our podcast’s visibility, listenership, and community through impactful social media strategies while collaborating with a talented graphics artist and publisher.


Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and manage a monthly social media content calendar aligned with podcast episodes, themes, and special campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the podcast team to plan and execute promotional strategies for upcoming episodes.
  • Research audience demographics to tailor content and engagement strategies.


Content Creation & Distribution

  • Collaborate with the graphics artist to design visually compelling posts, audiograms, Reels, Stories, and other platform-specific assets.
  • Coordinate with the publisher to ensure timely publishing and scheduling of content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, BuzzSprout, Apple Podcasts).
  • Write engaging captions that resonate with our target audience and include strong calls-to-action (CTAs).
  • Create detailed show notes for each podcast episode, summarizing key discussions, guest highlights, and important takeaways.


Podcast Copy Requirements

The following parts of the podcast require copywriting:

  • Episode Titles – Catchy, clear, and descriptive titles.
  • Show Notes – Summaries of the episode’s content, including key points, quotes, and resources mentioned.
  • Social Media Captions – Engaging copy for posts on various social media platforms.
  • Calls-to-Action (CTAs) – Encouraging the audience to listen, subscribe, share, or engage with the podcast.
  • Podcast Descriptions – For platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and BuzzSprout, describing the episode's content to attract listeners.
  • Guest Bios – Short, engaging bios for podcast guests to include in promotions and show notes.


Audience Engagement & Community Building

  • Help construct or draft FAQs or responses for common audience inquiries, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
  • Assist in crafting invites or correspondence to build relationships with podcast guests, influencers, and partner brands to amplify reach.


Analytics & Optimization

  • Coordinate with the publisher to track key performance metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and click-through rates.
  • Collaborate with the podcast project manager to analyze performance data and refine social media strategies to improve content effectiveness and audience engagement.
  • Work with the publisher to optimize posts for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords, hashtags, and alt texts to enhance discoverability.


Trendspotting & Innovation

  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the BizNest brand relevant.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage new platform features or viral content formats.

Special Campaigns

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns for podcast milestones (e.g., anniversaries, special episodes).

Requisito

  • Experience: 2+ years managing social media accounts, preferably for podcasts, media, or startups.


  • Skills:
  • Proficiency with social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Spotify, BuzzSprout, and Apple Podcasts.
  • Strong writing skills with a creative flair for captions and storytelling.
  • Experience working collaboratively with designers and publishers.


  • Soft Skills:
  • Highly organized with excellent time management.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, ever-evolving digital landscape.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with podcast marketing or audio content promotion.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with the startup and SMB landscape.
