Access Healthcare is looking for Healthcare AR Billing Specialists to join our Pioneer team in Pasay city. This role focuses on reviewing cash postings and credit balances, requiring strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in accounts receivable (AR) processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare billing and AR management within a BPO environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and reconcile cash postings and credit balances to ensure accurate account settlements.
  • Review and resolve discrepancies in payment applications, including overpayments, underpayments, and unapplied payments.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of AR issues to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Process adjustments and refunds in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage AR aging reports to meet collection and resolution goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address account-related inquiries and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations, payer requirements, and company standards.
  • Document findings and maintain accurate records of all AR activities and adjustments.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AR operations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Healthcare Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable or billing in a BPO set-up.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret AR data and identify discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in healthcare billing systems, EHR/EMR platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance processes, cash posting, and credit balance resolutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a non-voice environment and meet deadlines.
