1. MARKET RESEARCH
- Assist in conducting market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare market data to inform assortment planning and pricing strategies.
2. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- Support in facilitating the product development process.
- Handle various aspects of product development, from conceptualization to product testing and analyzing.
- Coordinate with shipping dept for ICC Stickers.
- Monitor product timelines, from ordering to market introduction.
3. BUYING AND SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
- Prepare new Items for Buying in all retail stores.
- Monitor Active SKU’s and Purge Items.
- Assigned in sourcing of trade and selected non-trade items for the company.
- Assigned in purchasing identified items and merchandise for all channels/formats.
- Assigned in reviewing production offerings, merchandise mix, and allocation.
- Communicate and Negotiates with vendors, both local and international for quality items with favorable costs, terms and discounts.
- Handles merchandise quality and supply/production problems.
- Review of production offering, merchandise mix and allocation.
- Facilitates sample requisition.
- Facilitates requisition of quotation for review and analysis.
4. PRICE MANAGEMENT AND PROMOTIONS
- Set pricing that will conform to set profit margins.
- Ensure that we get the best deal and cost.
- Collaboration with Marketing Team to develop promotional campaigns and optimize pricing strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
5. VISUAL MERCHANDISING AND STORE PRESENTATION
- Helps in developing and implementing visual merchandising standards and guidelines and support in executing merchandising strategies effectively.
- Collaborate with store operations teams to ensure consistent implementation of visual merchandising strategies across all retail locations.
- Continuously analyze store layouts and product placement to optimize sales and drive conversion rates.
6. SAMPLE MANAGEMENT
- In charge of ordering, assessment and evaluation of sample products.
- Facilitate sample presentation to management.
- Custodian of approved and disapproved sample items.
- Facilitate sampling with retail partners.
7. STRATEGIC AND DEPARTMENTAL OBJECTIVE COMPLIANCE
- Assists in Process improvement.
- Mission/Vision and Core Value adherence.
- Complies with all company policies as stated in the Employee handbook.
- Financial Management.
- Proper usage of department budget.
8. REPORTS AND CORRESPONDENCE
- Helps in updating Supervisor for the Item Visibility (Visibility Calendar)
- Maintain and updates monitoring file of new products for development (per brand handle)
- Maintain and updates Competitor’s Deck.
- Keep and file pertinent documents.
- Weekly PS update.
9. OTHERS
Product Manuals and Packaging
- In charge of sourcing marketing related materials for packaging and promotions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations for materials.
- Collaborate with the graphics team to develop packaging artwork and layout.
- Proofread all artworks and layout to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of units to ensure quality and functionality.
- Provide comprehensive content for packaging, rating labels, and manuals based on testing results.
- Maintain accurate records of testing procedures and outcomes for reference and reporting purposes.
