ABOUT THE CLIENT

5 ELK is an Australian-based company that offers insurance and financial planning services. They pride themselves on creating a positive and supportive work environment for employees who provide exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, Dayshift 5:30 am - 2:30 pm.

This is an office-based position in Cebu City.

The expected start date is March-April 2025.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Quality Assurance Associate at 5 ELK, your role is responsible for performing quality reviews to assess team members' adherence to company standards. This role involves auditing work activities, verifying compliance with operational procedures, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Responsibilities:

QUALITY ASSURANCE REVIEW (QAR)

• Conduct audits on team members to assess compliance with organizational standards.
• Verify the integrity of work reports and system usage.
• Identify and document any discrepancies or areas requiring improvement.
• Review adherence to cybersecurity practices and data protection guidelines.
• Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Monitor and verify the implementation of action plans for the quality assurance review findings by Team Members following the sending of emails.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance frameworks.

ORGANISATIONAL SUPPORT & ENGAGEMENT

• Managing and tracking attendance notification to the internal team
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as a part of committee.
• Attend and contribute to internal meetings.
• Promote and enhance the interests and reputation of 5 ELK.

ISO 9001 (QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)

• Assist in maintaining and updating documentation related to ISO 9001 compliance
• Support internal audits by gathering necessary records, ensuring proper implementation of quality management system (QMS)

ISO 27001 (INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)

• Assist in tracking and reporting security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and preventive actions.
• Participate in security awareness training and initiatives to reinforce best practices among employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Office Administration) or equivalent work experience.
• Have at least 1 year experience in quality assurance, auditing, office admin, administrative assistant or related role. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply!
• Certification in ISO 9001 or related quality management systems or ISO 27001 is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills- verbal and written.
• Analytical, problem-solving skills and Decision making skills
• Strong Attention to detail and effective organizational and time management skills
• Computer literacy skills include management of spreadsheets, word processing programs, and e-mail.
