Sample Maker is responsible for creating garment samples based on design specifications, patterns, and technical requirements. This role requires excellent sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret design instructions accurately. The Sample Maker plays a crucial role in the product development process by ensuring that samples meet quality standards before mass production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sew and assemble garment samples based on patterns and specifications.
• Ensure stitching, measurements, and construction accuracy.
• Perform necessary alterations or adjustments to samples.
• Read and interpret technical packs, patterns, and design sketches.
• Work closely with designers and pattern makers for sample development.
• Inspect finished samples for defects and ensure quality workmanship.
• Recommend modifications for better fit and durability.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and garment-making tools.
• Handle different fabric types and trims with precision.
• Maintain sewing equipment and ensure proper usage.
• Coordinate with production teams and provide sewing-related feedback.
• Keep track of sample development progress and maintain records.

• Proven experience as a Sample Maker, Tailor, or Seamstress in garment manufacturing.
• Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and tools.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and stitching techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret patterns, technical sheets, and design sketches.
• Keen attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in handling different garment types (preferred).
• Knowledge of pattern making and garment fitting techniques (preferred).
