• Proven experience with Fixed Asset Accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and asset disposals
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS, etc.) and applying them to fixed assets
• Ability to perform reconciliations and monthly closings
• Previous experience in evaluating complex financial data and making informed, critical decisions
• With knowledge in insurance claims processing and insurance contracts

Soft Skills:

• Skilled at identifying potential risks and discrepancies, providing well-reasoned solutions to mitigate risks, and recommending corrective actions
• With excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data and provide actionable insights

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Fixed Assets Management systems (e.g., SAP, Fixed Assets, Oracle Asset Management, or other asset tracking software)
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., using pivot tables, VLOOKUP and other similar techniques)
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliances

Work Environment:

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines, particularly during month-end and year-end closing periods

• Minimum - years of accounting, including at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role
• BS in Accountancy or similar curriculum
• CPA is an advantage
• Willing to work onsite at Alpha land BGC, Taguig city from Monday to Friday
• Open for 1-year project base contract
