Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive QA Automation Engineer to contribute to the automation testing efforts for our software solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, and Appium, ensuring efficient and reliable regression, smoke, and sanity testing as part of a collaborative QA team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress.
• Perform end-to-end, integration, regression, and functional testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
• Integrate Cypress tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues using Azure DevOps.
• Stay updated with Cypress best practices and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high-quality releases.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 1- 2+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Cypress.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and experience writing Cypress test scripts.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, API testing).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of BDD/TDD methodologies (e.g., using Cucumber with Cypress).
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in web and mobile automation.
