As Research and Development Specialist will be in-charge of the following duties and responsibilities:

Product Development

• Assist the R&D Team in new product development and product improvements. This includes conducting consumer tests and validating tools, equipment and store process.
• Testing shelflife and packaging materials.
• Assist in food preparation and presentation, including food costing and analysis.

Material Evaluation

• Evaluation of raw materials for new product development or as possible alternatives to existing raw materials.
• Assist in evaluating performance and suitability of new equipment and kitchen tools and utensils.

Standards

• Process and end-product validation for accreditation of fresh dough production facilities.
• Institute internal safeguards on funds, assets, company properties and recommending improvements to maximize efficiency of office facilities and equipment.
• Develop new and enhance existing documents. Improve the department’s existing administrative processes for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance of projects to all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
• Licensed Nutritionist-Dietitian is an advantage.
• 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specializing in Food Technology/Nutritionist or equivalent. Experience in food manufacturing/commissary is preferred.
• Must possess culinary skills.
• Must be willing to do fieldworks.
• Strong analytical skills; methodical and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office.
