BASIC DUTIES:

·        Responsible for identification of possible hazards during the engineering process. And is also responsible for making necessary procedures, seminars, and orientation, safety inspections and evaluation, to maintain a safe working condition during the process. Making quotation and project proposals and follow up.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

·        Recognize, identify and evaluate occupational hazards, unsafe acts and unsafe condition at site or at any work

·        area during the project implementation process.

·        Makes appropriate and necessary safety work procedures.

·        Orients all OMTPI employees with regards to safe work practices.

·        Attend daily TBM conducted by Project Site Manager / Supervisor and report job safety performance.

·        Serves as secretary to the Health and Safety Committee.

·        Strictly implement the use of PPE at all times.

·        Conducts health and safety site audit. Evaluate specific work to be done at site to maintain a safe working

·        condition during the process.

·        Make certain that welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained.

·        Conducts investigation of accidents / incidents and make report and analysis and recommend means of

·        preventing recurrence.

·        Assist in the creation and submission of the Construction Safety and Health Program as per project requirement

·        to DOLE.

·        Provides assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident

·        investigation or any other related program.

·        Assist in the implementation of the monthly workplace inspection or the Office Safety Patrol.

·        Keep a permanent record of all injuries and damage at the site.

·        Keep a record of daily / weekly safety meetings including TBM on site with subject and attendance.

·        Timely coordinate and report to immediate superior key results areas of activities.

• Engineering or a Technical Course Graduate
• With COSH certificate and first aid training
• Knowledgeable in MS word, excel, and powerpoint
• Knowledgeable in Occupational Safety and Health Standards of the Philippines.
• With at least 1 year experience
