Description
- Manage and monitor all accounting transactions
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax documents
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Maintain accurate records of financial activities
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Manage employee benefits and government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Handle tax-related matters such as BIR filings and compliance
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Knowledge of payroll processing and employee benefits management
- Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and government compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- CPA license is an advantage (but not always required)
