Art Director
The Role
We are hiring a Social-First Art Director to play a hands-on creative leadership role within our team. You’ll report directly to our Creative Director and work alongside graphic designers, editors, strategists, and account managers to develop impactful social content that aligns with brand strategy and current platform trends.
This role is ideal for someone who blends conceptual thinking and design excellence, who can take direction but also help shape it, and who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. You’ll guide creative execution across static, motion, and video — supporting both organic and paid campaigns.
What You’ll Do
- Lead visual direction and ideation on client campaigns, from concept to execution
- Interpret briefs and feedback then provides creative direction to designers and editors
- Ensure brand consistency and visual quality per each client across all deliverables
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to push creative standards and ideas forward
- Bring a critical eye to design work and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Participate in client meetings to support strategy, present creative, and respond to feedback
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounts and strategy to align design with campaign goals
- Stay on top of platform trends and incorporate them into creative recommendations
- Occasionally contribute hands-on design or layout work when needed
- Develop efficiencies in workflows of production with advancements of AI
What You Bring
- 4–6 years of experience in a design or art direction role, ideally in a social-first or digital agency
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative leadership and high-impact social content
- Ability to think conceptually and translate strategy into visual execution
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere)
- Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, and other emerging creator tools
- Deep understanding of social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook
- Expanded knowledge of social media trends in both organic and paid media
- Experience directing short-form video, motion graphics, and integrated social campaigns
- Collaborative working style and ability to guide junior creatives with clarity and empathy
- Comfortable presenting ideas to internal stakeholders and external clients
- Organized, deadline-driven, and adaptable to feedback and change
- Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and AI-powered creative tools
