Description

The Jewelry Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded. This role involves closely monitoring customer interactions, guiding sales representatives, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a sales-driven mindset, and the ability to analyze and optimize sales processes.



Key Responsibilities:

Sales Target Achievement:

  • Push to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Provide regular performance updates and feedback to the Sales Manager.


Customer and Sales Representative Monitoring:

  • Oversee and monitor conversations between customers and sales representatives to ensure high-quality service and effective selling techniques.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, escalating issues to the Sales Manager if necessary.
  • Analyze customer feedback and sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Support the Sales Manager in coaching and mentoring the sales team to optimize their performance.
  • Conduct regular reviews of sales representatives' performance and provide actionable feedback.
  • Facilitate training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement skills.


Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, including sales and customer interaction guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate sales records and preparing performance reports.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.


Inventory and Merchandising Support:

  • Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure availability of high-demand products.
  • Ensure that product displays are visually appealing and aligned with company standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the luxury or jewelry industry.
  • Strong leadership and monitoring skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and customer interactions to improve performance.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
