As an Audit Staff at Cherry Philippines, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial operations. Working within a dynamic team, you will conduct thorough audits, identify potential risks, and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall financial health of the organization. This full-time position is based in our Ermita, Manila City office, with opportunities for a field work.

What you'll be doing

• Perform comprehensive audits of financial records, transactions, and processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports, highlighting key findings and providing recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and enhance internal controls
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices
• Provide training and guidance to junior members of the audit team

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in internal audit or a related financial role
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in the use of financial analysis software and data management tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
