Description

The Inventory Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory records and maintaining the integrity of stock-related data. This role plays a key part in controlling food and beverage costs, minimizing waste, and supporting operational efficiency through regular audits and reporting.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Conduct physical counts of inventory

Compare physical counts of inventory to the recoded amount

Investigate and reconcile discrepancies found in inventory records

Prepare reports on inventory accuracy and discrepancies

Monitor inventory transactions and report any irregularities

Evaluate inventory management procedures and recommend improvements

Collaborate with other departments to improve accuracy.

Requirements

  • 4-year Accounting/Business Management Course
  • Good communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
  • Previous experience in restaurant operations or inventory control preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory software and POS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Can work under pressure
