Overview:

The Business Intelligence Specialist will be designing, building, and maintaining BI Warehouse infrastructure, single and multi-dimensional databases, and BI OLAP solutions. This role must have a strong collaborative background and a data-driven, results-driven, and customer-centric mindset.

What you will do:

• Translate the business requirements of the customers of the BI team into the DWH technical design.
• Collaborate closely with IT and other groups to map business requirements to their data sources.
• Ensure that ELT transformation logic to be implemented is aligned with company-wide definitions of metrics, dimensions, other data points.
• Create, maintain, and update DWH technical documents, including source-target mapping documents, data model and data flow documents, monitoring documents, and test scripts and testing documents.
• Perform regular checks on the data warehouse to ensure environment health, data integrity, and availability, by working closely with IT and other dependencies.
• Design, build, and roll-out Tableau dashboards to business users.
• Manage all process documents, records and databases for reference, research and report purposes. This may include but not limited to the full data lifecycle within the BI control - developing templates, enhancing reports, data quality, timelines of submission, and overall method of data gathering, processing and archiving.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar required.
• At least 4+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining Business Intelligence infrastructure and solutions
• Strong data modeling and data lakehouse infrastructure experience preferably on Databricks
• Experience with Python for data analysis and data transformation (e.g: Pandas, etc.)
• Strong project management, business analysis, and communication skills
• Experience with other data warehousing/ETL platforms such as MS SSIS, SAP BW, SAP DS, Oracle DI, a plus
• Familiarity with reporting/dashboarding platforms such as Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI, R
