Job Description

  • Prepare patients for cardiac testing procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
  • Conduct various diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
  • Monitor and document the results of cardiac tests while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist physicians in interpreting test results and providing immediate feedback for patient care.
  • Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate readings and optimal performance.


Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Cardiology Technology, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience Level: Entry-level; no prior experience required.
  • Skills and Competencies: Basic understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology; excellent communication skills.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to follow protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail, compassionate demeanor, and a desire to help patients.
  • Working Conditions: May involve standing for long periods; exposure to various clinical environments.
