Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter who is skilled in operating traditional woodworking machinery such as band saws, planers, and spindle moulders. The role involves cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components for furniture and other wooden structures while maintaining precision, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain traditional woodworking machinery (band saw, planer, spindle moulder, etc.).
• Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Assemble wooden components into finished furniture or structures.
• Inspect completed pieces to ensure accuracy, quality, and durability.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on woodworking machines.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter in a woodworking or furniture manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with traditional woodworking machines such as band saws, planers, and spindle moulders.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of wood properties and finishing techniques.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks and heavy materials.

Preferred:

• Experience in furniture making or related woodcraft industry.
• Knowledge of modern woodworking tools and techniques.
