Compensation and Benefits Associate


Principal Duties and Responsibilities


As a Compensation and Benefits Associate at Apeiron, you will be instrumental in supporting the administration, optimization, and compliance of the company’s compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they align with both local industry standards and Philippine regulations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, management, and employees, delivering key compensation and benefits insights while ensuring that all programs run smoothly and efficiently.


The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Philippine labor laws, HR practices, and compensation and benefits trends. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and an ability to handle confidential information with professionalism are crucial. If you are passionate about providing excellent employee support and playing a key role in enhancing compensation and benefits strategies, this opportunity is for you.

  • Process the payroll and statutory benefits of Apeiron and its clients and affiliates
  • Assist in the design and execution of competitive compensation structures that align with business objectives and comply with Philippine labor regulations (e.g., minimum wage laws, 13th-month pay, and other statutory benefits), including benchmarking studies.
  • Support the planning and execution of performance-based incentives, salary reviews, and bonus structures in line with the company’s policies and financial goals.
  • Administer regular compensation programs, such as regularization salary adjustments and merit-based increases, while ensuring compliance with applicable local laws and industry practices.
  • Manage the full cycle of employee benefits programs, including health insurance (e.g., HMO), government-mandated benefits (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and retirement benefits under the company’s programs.
  • Educate employees about available benefits and assist with enrollment and claim procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Track and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Philippine Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government-mandated programs, ensuring timely and accurate remittances.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of employee compensation and benefits data in Amber, the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and ensure proper documentation for audits and reporting purposes.


Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration, HR, or a related field,
  • Ability to give detailed attention to projects
  • Familiarity with HRIS or other compensation/benefits management systems.
  • Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations (Labor Code, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, tax requirements, etc.).
  • Experience with local payroll processing and statutory benefit requirements is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with sensitive data and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
