- Evaluate project costs and budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
- Analyze data and report on cost variances and trends.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor expenses.
- Prepare cost estimates for project proposals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in cost engineering or project control.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cost estimation, budget management, and financial analysis; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with project management software.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare cost estimates, track project expenses, analyze financial performance, and provide forecasts.
- Working Conditions: Primarily office-based, but may require site visits for project evaluations.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, excellent communication, teamwork skills, and ability to work under pressure.
