Description

The Data Privacy Officer (DPO) is responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with data protection laws and regulations, including Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable privacy frameworks. Acting as a subject matter expert, the DPO advises the company on best practices for protecting personal data, oversees data protection strategies, manages privacy risk assessments, and serves as the point of contact for data subjects and regulatory authorities.


  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's data privacy policies, procedures, and relevant frameworks.
  • Conduct regular Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Advise and educate employees on data protection obligations and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and Data Protection Authorities (DPAs).
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and a collaborative team mindset.
  • Educational attainment: at least a Bachelor’s degree.
  • With experience as a Data Privacy Officer.
