Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the design, implementation, and operational management of our hybrid infrastructure environments. These environments include on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud platforms, with a focus on AWS. This role is crucial for maintaining the scalability, reliability, and security of our systems as you work collaboratively with a team of engineers.

Responsibilities

  • DevOps Best Practices: Assist in the deployment of DevOps practices, focusing on service level objectives (SLOs), service level indicators (SLIs), and monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Automation and Efficiency: Contribute to the development and implementation of automation tools and processes to improve system reliability and efficiency.
  • Incident Management: Participate in the identification and resolution of system outages and emergencies, and assist in root cause analysis to mitigate future incidents.
  • Capacity Planning & System Design: Support capacity planning and system design efforts to ensure infrastructure meets growing demands.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including application development, cloud architecture, and platform engineering, to support aligned solutions and operational standards.
  • Observability & Monitoring: Assist in optimizing observability tools, such as Datadog, Splunk, and CloudWatch, to gain actionable insights into system performance and health.

Your profile

  • Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., SSM, CloudFormation, ECS, EKS, Lambda).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) with experience on Linux/Windows platforms.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to learn and adapt new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps related roles.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and databases such as AWS Aurora/RDS.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies and experience with monitoring tools like Datadog or Splunk.
  • AWS certification is a plus.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across global teams.
