- Willing to be assigned at De La Salle University Dasmarinas
- Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.
- Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
- Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
- Complete required documentation of repairs and service information.
- Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts.
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certification or degree preferred but not required.
- Experience Level: At least 1-3 years of experience in electrical systems, wiring, and all phases of electrical maintenance and repair.
- Skills and Competencies: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance tools. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Diagnose and resolve electrical problems.
- Working Conditions: Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor settings, potential exposure to hazards such as electric shock, must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, reliable, with excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to use power and hand tools safely. Strong communication and time-management skills.
