Enterprise Sales Consultant – Cloud & Infrastructure
Job Purpose:
Drive sales growth and business development for cloud and infrastructure solutions by engaging with enterprise clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored IT solutions. Work alongside the sales and pre-sales teams to provide technical and strategic sales expertise.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
- Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities for cloud and infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients and key decision-makers.
- Drive revenue growth by effectively positioning cloud and infrastructure services.
2. Solution Selling & Technical Collaboration:
- Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver customized solutions based on client needs.
- Present and demonstrate cloud and infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers.
- Provide consultative selling, addressing business challenges with IT solutions.
3. Market Expansion and Strategy:
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.
- Develop go-to-market strategies to maximize opportunities and market penetration.
- Identify and collaborate with industry partners, vendors, and resellers to enhance solution offerings.
4. Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
- Conduct customer needs assessments and align solutions to their business requirements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term client relationships.
5. Reporting & Sales Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales pipeline and performance.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions and track sales progress.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4-6 years in enterprise sales, specifically in cloud and IT infrastructure solutions.
- Proven track record in selling cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), IT infrastructure, and networking solutions.
- Experience working alongside pre-sales, technical, and sales teams.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as networking, storage, and virtualization.
- Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Sales & Consulting Skills:
- Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for enterprise clients.
- Strategic thinker with experience in market development and competitive analysis.
- Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with C-level executives.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving technology landscape.
- Preferred Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Vendor certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Cisco certifications are a plus.
