Animal Farm Worker - Hong Kong

Job Description
- Feed and water animals according to schedules and dietary requirements
- Clean and disinfect animal pens, barns, cages, and equipment
- Assist with breeding, birthing, and weaning processes
- Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report to supervisors or veterinarians
- Administer medications or vaccinations as directed
- Milk animals (if applicable), collect eggs, or assist with shearing
- Help move or herd animals between pens, pastures, or transport vehicles
- Maintain records of feeding, breeding, and health treatments
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and tools safely
- Perform general farm maintenance, such as repairing fences, cleaning water troughs, and maintaining shelters
- Experience with specific types of livestock (e.g., dairy cows, poultry, pigs)
- Knowledge of safe handling techniques for animals
- Basic veterinary knowledge or first aid for animals (a plus)
- Physical fitness and ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays if required
- Basic understanding of animal behavior and care
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
