Description
- Review each order for accuracy, including correct items, modifiers, and special requests.
- Ensure food is presented according to restaurant standards before it reaches the guest.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with kitchen staff and servers.
- Verify that all accompaniments, utensils, and garnishes are included.
- Monitor food quality, temperature, and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food expediting station.
- Notify kitchen or service staff immediately of any discrepancies or issues.
- Support food runners and servers during busy shifts.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication and multitasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices.
