Our partner, a leading provider of private rehabilitation centers and co-located clinics within aged care facilities across Australia, is seeking a dedicated
Healthcare Support Specialist to join their team! Renowned for offering a comprehensive range of allied health services, they stand out as one of the few allied health groups in Australia actively conducting research within their clinics, promoting a holistic, client-centered approach to treatment.
As the
Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and triaging internal and external communications, as well as overseeing task execution within the system. Reporting directly to the Australia-based manager, you will ensure seamless workflow and facilitate effective collaboration between onshore and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Concentric team, ensuring efficient handling of non-client-facing tasks.
- Manage appointments, schedules, and operations to support onshore teams effectively.
- Oversee billing, payments, data entry, reconciliation, and related financial processes.
- Facilitate client intake, onboarding, and documentation to ensure service continuity.
- Maintain accurate document management and compliance, including filing, updates, and auditing.
- Triage inbound SMS communications, categorizing cases and escalating issues as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between onshore and offshore teams, ensuring seamless communication and task coordination.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on administrative tasks and system reports to uphold data accuracy and compliance.
- Audit reports and databases regularly, identifying and addressing discrepancies to ensure consistency.
- Adhere to healthcare regulations and privacy protocols, ensuring all client information is documented, stored, and handled confidentially.
Skills, Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field .
- Proven experience in customer service or a support-oriented administrative role, ideally within healthcare or allied health sectors.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, scheduling software, and data management tools.
- Understanding of data compliance and healthcare data protection standards.
- Strong command of written and verbal English, with an ability to convey information kindly, clearly, and effectively.
- Someone with leadership skills is ideal.
- Ability to work in high performing cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Has a high level of accountability, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and openness to learning.
