The HR Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the HR team at Onboard. This role is essential in ensuring smooth HR processes, maintaining employee records, coordinating HR initiatives, and assisting with compliance and employee engagement efforts. The HR Assistant will work closely with employees and managers to facilitate communication, maintain documentation, and support daily HR functions.


  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork, system access, and coordination of necessary equipment.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave policies, and company procedures.
  • Support the HR team in organizing employee engagement activities and initiatives.
  • Assist with benefits administration by collecting necessary employee information and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate data in the HRIS (Rippling) and ensure timely updates.
  • Generate HR reports on key metrics such as attendance, leave balances, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Ensure HR files and records comply with legal and company requirements while tracking and implementing compliance-related tasks.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and best practices in the Philippines..
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software (Rippling preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in multinational organizations or large-scale companies.
  • Proficiency in using Chromebooks, including navigating the Chrome OS interface, managing apps, and utilizing cloud-based tools and services.
  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
