Description
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately.
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnose faults in machines, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, electrical components, pumps, etc.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and lubrication, and ensure timely preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding torches, gauges, and hoists according to specifications.
- Install and align new machinery/components, support rigging and heavy equipment handling.
- Educational Qualifications: No formal degree required.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant experience in industrial settings.
- Skills and Competencies: Licensed Certified Plant Mechanic, electrical troubleshooting, electrical wiring, hand welding, die casting technology, automatic welding, and safety protocol execution.
- Working Conditions: Industrial environments, often involving manual labor and potential exposure to hazardous materials.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
