Description

  • Translates documents and other materials from Filipino / English to Nihongo and vice versa accurately to preserve the original meaning and tone.
  • Acts as translator during meetings and conferences attended by mixed groups of   people particularly Filipinos and Japanese.
  • Conducts research on subject matters related to Japanese economy, arts, culture and politics.
  • Submits periodic reports as often as necessary.
  • Performs other functions as may be assigned by immediate Supervisors or the President.

Requirements

  • Job Title: Japanese Translator
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language, Linguistics, or related field.
  • Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant translation experience.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Japanese and English; strong translation and interpretation skills.
  • Working Conditions: Primarily office-based, with potential remote work options.
  • Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, and a passion for language.
