Job Title: Key Account Executive – Modern Trade
Location: Sucat, Parañaque
Reports to: Modern Trade Sales Manager
Role Type: Independent Contributor
Channel: Modern Trade
Salary Range: ₱30,000 – ₱60,000 (Monthly)

Responsibilities

The Key Account Executive – Modern Trade is responsible for managing and growing key modern trade accounts such as O Save, Dali, Alfa Mart, and other designated MT accounts. This role ensures sales targets are met, executes joint business plans, and coordinates demand planning to maintain stock availability and maximize revenue.

The position requires strong analytical skills, customer business planning experience, and proficiency in using MS Office and AI tools for forecasting and reporting. The Key Account Executive serves as the primary contact for assigned accounts and works closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow key modern trade accounts, ensuring sales and revenue targets are achieved.
  • Develop and execute Customer Business Plans and Joint Business Plans (JBP).
  • Coordinate with Demand Planning to ensure accurate forecasting and stock availability.
  • Monitor account performance, promotions, and competitor activity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, sales updates, and account insights for management.
  • Utilize AI tools and MS Office for data analysis and reporting.
  • Identify growth opportunities and propose strategies to maximize account potential.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, trade guidelines, and commercial standards.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum Experience: 3–5 years as a Sales Executive or in Key Account/Customer Development roles.
  • Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Proven experience managing modern trade accounts.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Business Planning and Joint Business Planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with AI tools for sales forecasting and analysis (advantage).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with major retail chains in Modern Trade.Background in FMCG, consumer goods, or retail sales.
