Description
- Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and utensils
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed
- Help with inventory management and stocking supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cook skills, kitchen hygiene, and customer service; strong attention to detail; capable of heavy lifting; effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment; may involve extended standing and lifting.
- Qualities and Traits: Team-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and possesses a strong work ethic.
