Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Legal Assistant to support our legal department in a hybrid work setup. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of legal operations through document management, legal research, and administrative support.

This position requires strong written communication skills, excellent organizational ability, and proficiency with digital tools and document systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, organize, and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Manage and label files using cloud-based systems (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox) for efficient access and retrieval.
  • Conduct legal research to support attorneys and paralegals in case preparation and client-related matters.
  • Prepare and summarize reports based on research and legal findings.
  • Tag, categorize, and maintain digital files for easy reference.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external communications.
  • Provide administrative assistance, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in document organization and filing systems.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in Paralegal Studies, Legal Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and document management systems.
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills in managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using digital platforms and cloud-based systems for document organization.
  • Must have access to a personal computer or laptop and a reliable internet connection for hybrid work arrangements.
