Managing Director – to spearhead expansion for an Emerging Hospitality Leader

The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Managing Director to lead the strategic growth of the hotel management portfolio from our Metro Manila headquarters. This role demands an entrepreneurial leader with expertise in business development, operational excellence, and building strong relationships with property owners. You will drive the company’s expansion across the Philippines and Southeast Asia, solidifying its presence in a dynamic hospitality market.

The Role

As Managing Director, you will oversee business development, secure management agreements, and expand the portfolio. Reporting to the board, you will drive operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new hotel management projects, fostering growth for the company’s portfolio
• Establish and nurture relationships with property owners to ensure mutual success
• Lead our client’s business strategy, focusing on innovation and market presence
• Oversee operational performance, ensuring brand standards and financial goals are met
• Manage budgeting, revenue optimization, and key performance indicators (RevPAR, GOP)
• Mentor and guide corporate leaders and property General Managers (GMs)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Over 10 years of senior leadership in hospitality (e.g., GM, Regional Manager)
• Demonstrated success in the Philippine/Southeast Asian market
• Strong business acumen, with expertise in financial management and negotiations
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to identify and secure new hotel management projects, fostering portfolio growth
• Exceptional English communication skills (proficiency in Tagalog is a plus)
• Degree in Hospitality Management or a graduate of a premier Hotel School
