Job Objective:

To ensure that all departments within the Rooms Division operate efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with the objectives, performance metrics, and quality standards set by Dusit Hotels and Resorts.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing programs for guestroom sales.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue teams on strategy and product development.
  • Lead staff incentive programs (e.g., upselling, cross-selling) to optimize revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with Dusit brand standards across the division.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking.

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare, manage, and control the division’s annual budget.
  • Monitor costs and implement preventive measures to maintain profitability.
  • Recommend budget amendments as necessary with appropriate approvals.

Forecasting

  • Deliver monthly and annual room revenue forecasts.
  • Analyze market trends and tourism developments with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistent, data-driven forecasting practices.

Administration

  • Develop and execute the division’s Business Plan.
  • Conduct regular divisional meetings and participate in cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Submit timely reports and documentation for strategic planning and operations.

Employee Relations

  • Foster a culture of training, development, and performance excellence.
  • Enforce the hotel's Code of Discipline and promote strong communication within teams.
  • Collaborate with HR on personnel matters and team engagement.

Operations

  • Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, and other assigned departments.
  • Drive service excellence through operational policies, service standards, and inspections.
  • Handle guest feedback and ensure swift resolution of complaints.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Security on preventive maintenance and safety planning.
  • Escort VIP guests and monitor Lobby operations for optimal guest experiences.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree: in Hospitality Management or related field is often preferred.
  • Extensive experience: in hotel management, particularly within the Rooms Division, is crucial.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills: to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Financial acumen: to manage budgets and understand key performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards
