About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive Marketing Strategist with leadership skills to take charge of our marketing initiatives and guide a team of three. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution — from campaign planning to content creation — to strengthen our brand presence and drive engagement.

This is a remote position, but will require regular reporting and active coordination with the CEO and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a small marketing team to ensure projects are executed effectively and aligned with company goals.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and generate engagement.
  • Write and proofread engaging copy for ads, landing pages, email campaigns, blogs, and social media.
  • Manage the content calendar: plan, create, and schedule posts across web, email, and social channels.
  • Conduct market and industry research to produce quality, original content.
  • Optimize content for SEO and conversions while maintaining consistent brand voice.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Report all campaign data, metrics, and results regularly to provide visibility to leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure unified messaging across all platforms.
  • Stay updated on marketing trends, audience behavior, and new tools.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content writing, and campaign management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a small team.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for design and originality.
  • Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CMS tools (e.g., Mailchimp, WordPress).
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative, and a take-charge attitude.
  • Ability to compile and present numbers, data, and reports to ensure visibility of marketing performance.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote setup.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience managing multichannel campaigns and delivering measurable results.
  • Background in creative industries or technology sectors is a plus.
