Description
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Inspect and replace worn parts, including brakes and belts.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services.
- Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle problems.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technology program is preferred.
- Experience Level: 2-5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues, skilled in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Working Conditions: Work in a garage setting, may require standing for long periods and exposure to noise and fumes.
- Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and good communication abilities.
