- Mengkaji dan menganalisis rekod perubatan untuk memastikan pengekodan yang tepat bagi diagnosis dan prosedur.
- Menetapkan kod yang sesuai untuk perkhidmatan pesakit dalam dan pesakit luar menggunakan sistem pengekodan semasa.
- Memastikan pematuhan terhadap peraturan dan garis panduan pengebilan dan pengekodan.
- Bekerjasama dengan profesional penjagaan kesihatan bagi menjelaskan diagnosis dan pelan rawatan.
- Sentiasa mengemaskini pengetahuan pengekodan untuk kekal selaras dengan piawaian industri.
Keperluan
- Kelayakan Pendidikan: Ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam Pengurusan Maklumat Kesihatan atau bidang berkaitan
- Tahap Pengalaman: 1–3 tahun pengalaman dalam pengekodan perubatan
- Kemahiran dan Kompetensi: Kefahaman mendalam mengenai terminologi perubatan dan sistem pengekodan termasuk pengekodan ED, EM, OP, pesakit dalam dan pesakit luar
- Sifat dan Ciri-ciri: Teliti dengan kemahiran analisis yang kukuh
- Kemahiran dan Kompetensi: Pensijilan CCS diutamakan
- Kemahiran dan Kompetensi: Mahir dalam perisian dan pangkalan data pengekodan
