Manage all corporate secretarial functions and provide support to Management or Superiors on governance and compliance-related matters.
Ensure timely and accurate lodgment of statutory forms, returns, and reports in line with regulatory obligations.
Uphold and promote best practices in corporate governance and ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
Review statutory documents, company returns, and other secretarial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Draft board papers, resolutions, and minutes for Board, Board Committee, and Shareholders' meetings.
Coordinate, organize, and attend Board, Board Committee, and Shareholder meetings, ensuring all requirements are met.
Assist in the preparation and compilation of the Company's Annual Reports.
Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and corporate information in a timely and organized manner.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management or Superior, including multi-tasking across relevant areas as and when required.
Sustainability
Implement sustainability strategies that support the Company's ESG sustainability objectives.
Coordinate with relevant departments and operating units within the Group to monitor the target achievement of all deliverables.
Assist in the preparation of sustainability reporting in alignment with reporting standards and frameworks and in compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.
Assist in the conduct of the Group's annual supplier self-assessment.
Support the preparation of the external assurance of the sustainability process and data.
Develop and implement communication plans to promote sustainability awareness and to inculcate sustainability ownership through sustainability programs.
Lead the team in the compilation & verification of sustainability performance data.
Prepare sustainability-related presentations, reports, and ESG rating update for both internal and external consumption.
Job Requirements
A member of MAICSA
Minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate secretarial practice, including at least 5 years in a public listed company.
Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
Computer literate, detail-oriented, and highly meticulous in documents and compliance matters.
In-depth knowledge of company secretarial practices, the Companies Act 2016, Main market listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, and other relevant laws and regulations.
