We are looking for passionate Software Engineer Trainees to join our new training program, Whitecloak Launchpad Program. As part of our engineering team, you’ll contribute to building scalable applications while gaining hands-on experience in modern frameworks and AI-driven workflows.

This role is perfect for someone who has already dabbled in real-world projects (websites or apps) and is now ready to deepen their technical skills while collaborating with a supportive and innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain web or mobile applications.
• Experiment with AI-driven tools, workflows, and integrations to enhance development processes.
• Approach challenges with creativity- proposing innovative, automated, and scalable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, welcome feedback, and continuously improve coding practices.
• Share learnings, mentor peers, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in Next.js / React and Nest.js / Node.js.
• Hands-on experience building websites or mobile applications from scratch.
• A “do what it takes” mindset - adaptable, resourceful, and proactive.
• Passion for learning and staying on the cutting edge of emerging technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
• Collaborative spirit and openness to feedback.

You’ll have an edge if you have:

• Experience participating in hackathons or similar competitions.
• Exposure to agile development practices.
• Experience in Flutter.
