The Cin7 Core Implementation Specialist is a key player in delivering successful Inventory Management System (IMS) implementation, integration, and migration projects—especially for businesses transitioning from legacy systems like NetSuite to Cin7 Core. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong business process analysis skills, enabling them to recommend best practices, optimize workflows, and ensure data integrity throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Cin7 Implementation & Migration

• Manage full-cycle implementation of Cin7 Core, including project planning, execution, and post-go-live support.
• Lead migration projects from legacy systems (such as NetSuite) to Cin7, including data mapping, cleansing, and conversion.
• Ensure all integrations and migrations align with client workflows, supply chain requirements, and operational objectives.

Champion Workflow Optimization & Business Process Improvement

• Analyze and document existing business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with clients to understand operational workflows, pain points, and business objectives.
• Design and recommend optimized processes that leverage Cin7’s capabilities and best practices.
• Facilitate business process mapping sessions to ensure alignment between client needs and system configuration.
• Support change management and user adoption through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Act as a trusted advisor, recommending scalable, future-ready solutions.

Drive Data Transformation & Integration Excellence

• Lead data mapping exercises to ensure accurate migration and integration of product, customer, and order data.
• Translate business requirements into clear data mapping specifications and system configurations.
• Work with clients to validate data quality, resolve discrepancies, and ensure successful data transformation.
• Design and manage custom field (metafield) configurations to support client-specific data requirements.
• Leverage strong Excel (or Google Sheets) skills to filter, query, and transform data for imports, exports, and custom reporting.

Support Technical Project Delivery

• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of implementation projects.
• Help ensure project milestones are met, deliverables are high quality, and solutions align with client goals.

Own Documentation, Training & Support

• Develop comprehensive documentation and training resources for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in workshops, training sessions, and Q&A support during and after implementation phases.
• Ensure clients are equipped to maximize their use of Cin7 post-implementation.

Requirements:

• No prior experience required—training will be provided.
• Applicants who successfully pass the initial screening will proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process.
• Strong technical skills in Excel (or Google Sheets) for data transformation and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in business process analysis, workflow design, and process optimization.
• Strong skills in data mapping, data validation, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Solid understanding of inventory management, supply chain optimization, and cloud-based business solutions.
• Experience collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, requirements gathering, and solution design skills.

Bonus Points / Preferred:

• Cin7 Core Certification or completion of Cin7 academy training.
• Familiarity with other inventory, POS, or eCommerce integrations is a plus
• Proven experience in Cin7 Core implementation, including multi-channel inventory systems and system migrations.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite-to-Cin7 migration or similar inventory system migration projects.
