• We are seeking a group of skilled and experienced Cloud Migration Specialists to architect and execute our customers' cloud migration strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in cloud environments and extensive experience in managing cloud migrations. In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee all technical aspects of cloud migration projects to ensure seamless transitions with minimal disruption to business operations. You will also be responsible for ensuring that migrations are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while addressing any technical challenges that arise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Migration Strategy and Planning: Develop cloud migration strategies tailored to customer requirements, prioritize and plan migration waves, and ensure alignment with both business objectives and technical specifications to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Asset Discovery and Assessment: Conduct thorough asset discovery to collect detailed configuration data, system dependencies, and utilization information, including third-party software licenses. This data will be used for cost analysis and optimization, as well as for developing migration strategy and planning
• Architecture Blueprint: Design and document both the current and target architectures. Develop detailed diagrams of existing system architectures and their dependencies and create the target architecture with appropriately sized resources to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Migration Execution Plan: Develop a detailed, step-by-step migration execution plan to guide the entire process across all workload components, ensuring clear and actionable steps are in place for a successful transition and cutover.
• Migrate and Modernize: Migrate workloads from source locations to the cloud using various cloud services and tools, while adhering to best practices. Ensure a smooth transition and, where applicable, modernize applications and infrastructure to enhance performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, engineers/developers, and project managers, to ensure the smooth execution of migration projects.
• Risk Management: Anticipate and address potential risks in cloud migration, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards and, where applicable, industry regulations to effectively protect systems and mitigate risks.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve technical challenges during the migration process, escalate issues when necessary, and collaborate with the broader team to ensure effective and efficient solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of migration processes, configurations, and issues. Regularly provide progress and status updates to stakeholders during stand-ups and review meetings.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends in cloud technologies. Participate in post-migration reviews to identify areas for improvement and suggest best practices.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Over 5 years in technical roles specializing in IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects, with extensive experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Demonstrates a deep understanding of cloud architectures and proficiency in cloud management tools and services.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in AWS cloud, including services (e.g., EC2, S3, and RDS) and migration tools (e.g., AWS Migration Evaluator, AWS Migration Hub, AWS Server Migration Service, and AWS Database Migration Service.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to address and resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-Starter and Fast Learner: Proactively drives tasks and projects with minimal supervision. Quickly learns new technologies and adapts to evolving requirements.
