• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming before painting.
• Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Protect surfaces not intended for painting by using appropriate coverings (taping, masking, drop cloths).
• Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity, coverage, and quality.
• Maintain and clean tools, brushes, spray guns, and equipment.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of paints, thinners, and chemicals.
• Follow company safety protocols, especially when working on ladders, scaffolds, or confined spaces.
• Collaborate with team members and report work progress to the supervisor.
• Perform minor repairs (e.g., plastering, patching cracks) before painting.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (TESDA/NC II in Painting Works is an advantage).
• Minimum 1–2 years of proven work experience as a Painter (construction, maintenance, or related industry).
• Experience in surface preparation, brush/roller/spray painting, and finishing work.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of different paints, primers, varnishes, and coatings.
• Ability to mix and match paint colors accurately.
• Skilled in using painting tools (brushes, rollers, spray guns) and equipment (scaffolds, ladders, sanders).
• Basic knowledge of surface repair (plastering, patching holes, sanding).
• Understanding of safety procedures when handling chemicals, solvents, and equipment.
