Description
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread items.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
- Ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet customer demands.
- Assist in training junior bakers and kitchen staff.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Baking, Pastry Arts, or Culinary Arts.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant experience in a bakery or restaurant setting.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and adaptability to varying tasks.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment with potential for long hours standing and working with heat.
- Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, creativity, teamwork, and a passion for baking.
