Description
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems according to specifications.
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems across various industries.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Measure and cut pipes to required lengths and angles.
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of piping systems.
Requirements
- Job Title: Pipefitter
- Educational Qualifications: Education not required.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in pipefitting.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in reading and interpreting contract specifications, pipe installation, and safety protocols.
- Working Conditions: May involve working in various environments, including outdoors and confined spaces.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
