Job Overview

The Procurement Officer – Deployment supports the procurement process by assisting in sourcing, negotiation, and contract administration to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services for telecom infrastructure projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Negotiates contracts and terms with suppliers, optimizing for best pricing, payment, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares and processes purchase orders, ensuring completeness and accuracy, including terms and specifications. Secures necessary approvals for release.
  • Manage purchase orders, inventory levels, and procurement records.
  • Prepares and presents procurement reports, including risk assessments related to supplier reliability and market / price fluctuations, and cost analyses and recommended spend optimizations.
  • Conducts reviews of third-party reports on key vendors exceeding USD 120,000 in POs, using tools like Exiger.
  • Ensures compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Conducts market research to assess vendor landscape and identifies potential new suppliers and products.
  • Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure purchases remain within budget and provide cost-saving recommendations.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering Business Administration, or any

related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement; with experience in telecom infrastructure

procurement, strongly preferred.

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Supply Chain

Professional (CSCP) are advantages.

  • Proficiency in ERP and procurement software, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and

Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

  • Strong understanding of tendering processes and bid evaluation techniques.
  • Ability to perform cost analysis, use data insights to optimize procurement costs, and assess

supply chain risks.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and team collaboration abilities, with experience in vendor

negotiation and contract management.
